Mr. Osmond, merchant of this town, married Miss Mary Hall, daughter of Col. Arthur Hall, on                  April 13, 1732.

Dr. William Cleiland and Mrs. Mc-Nabney were married at her home on April 27, 1732.

Mr. William Cattell, merchant, married in the country, Miss Anne Cattell, a relation to the said     Mr. Cattell on May 17, 1732.

Mr. Crawford was married in town to Miss Sally Bellamy on May 18, 1732.

Mr. Foissine was married to Miss Mary La-Rush on June 8, 1732.

Mr. John Strahan, 70 yrs of age, married in St. Thomas Parish, Mrs. Naomi Painter, age 60 in      March 1732-33.

Thomas Dale, MD was married to Mrs. Mary Brewton on March 28, 1733 at St. Philip’s church in                Charlestown.

Mr. Robert Pringle, merchant in Charlestown, was married to Miss Jane Allen, daughter of                          Mr. Andrew Allen, on July 18,1734.

Mr. Isaac Chardon was married to Miss Mary Woodward, of James’s Island, on November 6, 1735.

John Daniel Esq. married Miss Sarah Raven on January 23, 1735-36.

Mr. John Bedon Jr. was married to Mrs. Elizabeth Massey, relict of Mr. Benjamin Massey deceased,          on July 19, 1736.

Thomas Lamboll Esq. was married at Ashley Ferry, to Mrs. Peggy Edgar on April 14, 1737.

Mr. John Beswicke, merchant, married Miss Mary Hill on November 17, 1742.

Col. Miles Brewton was lately married to the widow Paine.

Capt. Thomas Frankland, of the Rose, man-of-war ship, was married to Miss Sarah Rhett on                       May 27, 1743.

Mr. John Witherspoon married Miss Martha Peronneau on August 11, 1743.

Mr. Stephen Bedon Jr. was married to Miss Ruth Nicholls, August 22, 1743, an agreeable lady, with a       large fortune. 

Colonel John Gibbes was also married Aug. 22, 1743, in the country Mrs. Elizabeth Jenys, of this                 town, relict of Paul Jenys Esq, with a very large fortune.

Mrs. Elizabeth Street, of Ashley-Ferry, widow, aged sixty-four years, married Mr. John Goodwin, of           Combahee, aged forty-eight years in August 1743.

John Dart Esq., was married to Mrs. Basset, relict of the late Rev. Nathan Basset, on April 16, 1744.

Mr. Alexander Peronneau was married to Miss Margaret Hext on December 24, 1744.

Mr. Benjamin Matthews was married to Miss Anne Holmes on February 5, 1745.

Tomas Monck, Esq., was married to Mrs. Mary De St. Julien on July 10, 1745.

Mr. William Dry was lately married to Miss Mary Jane Rhett. (About February 1746)

Mr. Kenneth Michie was lately married to Miss Mary Clap. (About February 1746)

Thomas Broughton, Esq., was married to the relict of Mr. Charles Izard, on March 4, 1746.

Mr. Charles Hill married Sarah Smith on March 6, 1746.

Culcheth Golightly, Esq., was married to Mrs. Mary Elliott on March 31, 1746.

John Dart Esq., was married to Mrs. Mary Hext, widow, on April 23, 1746.

Capt. Thomas Shubrick ( a wealthy and eminent merchant of this town) was married to                             Miss Sarah Motte on May 7, 1746.

Capt. Peter Comett was married to Miss Hannah Watson on July 7, 1746.

Mr. James Edward Powell was married at Port Royal, to Miss Mary Williams, on July 16, 1746.

Mr. Thomas Lloyd, lieutenant of one of our independent companies, was married to                                     Miss Mary Matthews on July 23, 1746.

Mr. Christopher Gadsden, purser of his Majesty’s ship Aldborough, was married to                                         Miss Jane Godfrey on July 28, 1746.

Mr. Jemmitt Cobley, married Miss Helen Wright on July 30, 1746.

William Cattell, Jr. Esq., married Miss Anne Fraser on July 31, 1746.

Last week Mr. Francis Roche, merchant, was married to Miss Anne Simmons. (Date on newspaper           August 18, 1746.)

Capt. Hugh Campbell, of Beaufort, was married to Miss Catharine Delegall, eldest daughter of                    Maj. Philip Delegall, of Cape-Breton, in May, 1747.

Hon. William Middleton, Esq., was married to Miss Sarah Wilkinson on July 30, 1747.

John Moreton, Esq., married Miss Dorothy Dry on July 28, 1747.

Mr. James Stirling, from Port Royal, aged about twenty-four years, was married to Mrs. Jane Wood ,          a lady of eighty-four, on November 6, 1747.

Mr. Alexander Petree married Miss Elizabeth Holland in February, 1748.

Daniel Crawford, Esq., married Miss Polly Holland ,sister to the lady just mentioned, February, 1748.

Mr. John Yerworth, married Miss Polly Livingston in February, 1748.

Mr. David Crawford married Miss Isabella Maine in February, 1748.

Dr. John Moultrie was married to Mrs. Elizabeth Mathews, a widow gentlewoman, on July 6, 1748.

Mr. Benjamin Stead, an eminent merchant, was married to Miss Mary Johnson, daughter of the late        Governor Johnson, on November 15, 1748.

Mr. John Savage, an eminent merchant, was married to Mrs. Allen a handsome widow                                  gentlewoman, on April 18, 1749.

Abraham Bosomworth, Esq., agent for Indian affairs ,was married at Ashley-Ferry, to Miss                            Susanna Seabrook, on November 2, 1749.

Mr. Alexander Fraser married Miss Anne Harvey in the beginning of November, 1749

Mr. John Ainslie was married to Miss Mary Child, reputed the richest in this province, on                              January 18, 1750.

Mr. Francis Kinloch, only son of the Hon. James Kinloch, Esq.,. was married to Miss Nancy Cleland,            the only child of the Hon. John Cleland, Esq., on February 15, 1751.

David Deas, Esq., merchant, was married to the relict of the late Mr. Kenneth Michie, on                              February 12, 1751.

Mr. Sampson Neyle, merchant, married Miss Martha Garden, eldest daughter of Rev. Mr. Alexander        Garden, rector of this Parish and our commissary, on February 16, 1751.

Thomas Wright, Esq., was married to Miss Polly Moncrief on February 24, 1751.

Mr. Robert Pringle, an eminent merchant, was married to Mrs. Judith Bull, the relict of                                   Stephen Bull, Esq., on April 16, 1751.

William Branford, Esq., was married to Miss Elizabeth Savage on April, 25, 1751.

Mr. Thomas Burrington, attorney at law, was married to Miss Katy Reid on June 20, 1751.

Rawlins Lowndes, Esq., was married to Miss Mary Cartwright on December 31, 1751.

John Drayton, Esq., was married to Miss Glen, sister to his Excellency, our Governor, in                                    February 28,1752.

John Lloyd, Esq., commander of Fort Johnson, was married to Miss Rebecca Boone on Nov. 22, 1752.

Mr. Charles Pinckney was married to Miss Frances Brewton on January 2, 1753.

Hon. Edward Fenwicke, Esq., was married to Miss Mary Drayton, daughter of Thomas Drayton, Esq.,             about three weeks ago. (Date of newspaper March 19, 1753)

Dr. John Moultrie Jr, was married to Mrs. Dorothy Morton in April 1753.

Mr. George Roupell, one of the officers of his Majesty’s customs for this port, was married to                        Miss Elizabeth Prioleau, on May 8, 1753.

Mr. Samuel Wragg, merchant, was married to Miss Judith Rothmahler about 2 weeks ago.                             (Date of newspaper May 21, 1753.)

Mr. Archibald Stobo married Miss Elizabeth Skirving in Ponpon on March 27, 1755.

Mr. David Maybank was married to Miss Hannah Splatt in Ponpon on March 27, 1755.

Mr. Peter Manigault was married to Miss Elizabeth Wragg on June 8, 1755.

Mr. Charles Mayne was married to a daughter of the Hon. James Michie, Esq., on October 2, 1755.

Robert Williams, Esq., married Mrs. Gibbes of Christ Church Parish in April-May, 1759.

Mr. Thomas Stone, merchant, married Miss Guerin in April-May 1759.

Mr. John Deas, merchant married Miss Allen in April-May 1759.

Mr. Job Milner married Miss Mary Bond in April-May 1759.

Mr. James Simmons married Miss Holmes in April-May 1759.

Mr. Isaac Holmes, merchant, was married to Miss Rebecca Bee, one of the daughters of the late                 Col. John Bee, on May 8, 1759.

Mr. Archibald Stanyarne was married to Miss Sarah Elliott, a daughter of Thomas Elliott, Sr., Esq., of         Stono, on the week before May 19, 1759.

Mr. Miles Brewton, merchant, married to Miss Polly Izard, a daughter of the late Joseph Izard, Esq.,           on May 27, 1759.

Henry Hyrne, Esq., major of our provincial regiment, was married to the relict of the late                             Colcheth Golightly, Esq., about June 22, 1759.

Mr. Daniel Horry, Jr. was married to Miss Judith Serre on December 2, 1759.

Mr. Thomas Farr, Jr., merchant, was married to Miss Elizabeth Holmes, daughter of the late                         Mr. Francis Holmes, on December 2, 1759.

Mr. Peter Leger, Jr., in the country, married Miss Elizabeth Haig, daughter of the late George Haig,              Esq., on November 16, 1760.

Mr. Thomas Bee, attorney at law, was married to Miss Susannah Holmes, a daughter of the late                  Hon. Isaac Holmes, Esq., on May 5, 1761.

Mr. William Raven was married to Miss Henrietta Smith, a daughter of Thomas Smith, Sr., Esq., on              June 7, 1761.

Mr. Andrew Robertson, merchant, was married to Miss Helen Crawford, a daughter of the late Daniel Crawford, Esq., on June 16, 1761.

Mr. Whitmarsh Fuller was married to Miss Judith Simpson on June 30, 1761.

Mr. James Laurens, merchant, married to Mrs. Mary Crawford, the relict of Daniel Crawford, Esq., on         August 19, 1761.

Mr. Robert Herriot was married at Winyah, to Miss Mary Oldfield on July 6, 1762.

Mr. Adam Daniel married at Dorchester, Miss Anne Blake on November 5, 1761.

Mr. William Mazyck was married to Miss Mary Mazyck, a daughter of Paul Mazyck, Esq., deceased,              in June 1762.

Peter Taylor, Esq., was married at Goose Creek, to Mrs. Anne Swann of Cape Fear, relict of the                      Hon. John Swan, Esq., on 21 October 1762.

Mr. John Poaug, merchant, was married to Miss Charlotte Wragg, one of the daughters of the late              Hon. Joseph Wragg, Esq., on January 1, 1763.

Dr. John Haly was married to Mrs. Mary Shaw, widow of Lachlan Shaw, Esq., on January 19, 1763.
